Hi. I have a question. I have been sterilised but my husband want to have a child with me. How can I become pregnant, and what does it cost to have the clamps removed?

Dear Anette You cannot reverse your sterilisation. The chance for success after an operation of your tubes is too little. Today we recommend IVF instead. With this treatment, we take eggs out of your ovaries and fertilise them in the laboratory before we transfer an embryo into your uterus. If you have no child together with your husband, your danish GP can refer you to a public hospital in Denmark and the treatment is free of charge. You must be less than 41 years old. Otherwise, you have to pay yourself for the treatment at a private Fertility Clinic. you can read more about IVF at our homepage. Kind regards, Ursula Bentin-Ley
