The fetus is 68 mm long from crown to rump and weighs 45 grams. The cheeks are more defined and the nose looks like a nose. The ears are now in their final positions and look like human ears. The eyes are almost in their right positions in the face. The kidneys are now able to produce urine. Early sweat glands appear. The external genitalia have developed to the point where it is sometimes possible to tell whether the baby is a boy or a girl. If the lips of the fetus are stroked, it will respond with sucking motions.
